These FAQs are designed to provide a better understanding of our website and our sales system. They provide basic information, sometimes about fairly complex situations. If you have any questions about our site or our specimens that are not covered here or elsewhere on our website, please contact us.


1) I liked a mineral! How can I select it?

- After seeing the pictures and the description of the specimens, you must select the shopping cart on each ad that you want to buy. So, each mineral specimen will be automatically directed to your shopping cart. You can combine specimens to save on shipping cost.

2) How can I complete my purchase?
- Once in the shopping cart, you must click "Next" to be directed to a form where the buyer must inform its data. After we receive your request we will reserve the specimen (s) selected (s) in your order and make the package. After, we will confirm the shipping cost and then we will send the invoice through PayPal.


NOTE: It is important to note that your data will be handled only in order to enable confirmation of the shipping cost and subsequent issuance of Commercial Invoice through PayPal. Once completed the purchase, all data will be immediately deleted from our archives.


3) How can I pay? Is it safe?
- We only use PayPal to receive payments on purchases completed. It is the largest online payment platform in the world and is extremely safe.

4) What are the shipping options? How do you calculate the shipping cost? Do you charge handling fee?
- We ship our boxes only through the Brazilian mail. The shipping cost is exactly the amount charged by the Brazilian Mail according to the weight, destination and shipping option (including insurance). We do not add any value or handling fee.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
a) The value reported in the shopping cart is the reference value for shipping through "Economic Airmail Shipping" ONLY to the United States. If the buyer is not from the USA, the correct value of shipping cost will be informed after the conclusion of the order and BEFORE the Billing issued through PayPal, so that the buyer can choose the option that best suits.

b) If you wish a faster method, let us know the option that best suits you. Beyond the modality "Economic Airmail Shipping" (27 business days, with insurance, no tracking), we can ship your package through the following additional options:
- Priority Airmail Shipping (14 business days, with insurance, no tracking);
- Express Airmail Shipping (07 business days, with insurance and tracking).

c) We ship around 40 packages every month to many countries worldwide. We value and appreciate our loyal international customers and we promise to ship quickly! But, please, understand that we have no control of the customs process! Note that while delays are not common but they could happen.

So, we are required to accentuate the following:
- Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or the shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility;
- Please, check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying;
- If charged, these charges are normally collected by the local customs. So, do not confuse them as additional shipping charges.



5) When my package will be shipped?
- Your package will be shipped within two business days after confirmation of payment by PayPal.

6) Is your package safe?
- Our packages are made of double cardboard boxes, bubble wrap and styrofoam, in order to ensure that the specimen arrives safely and without damages.

7) Will I get the same specimen of the ad or similar?
- All photos of the ads are from the specimens that are for sale. Also, the pictures have not received any type of treatment or retouching of image. Thus, you will get the specimen that is in the photos. Note: the colors of the minerals in the pictures can have slight variations depending on the brightness when the photos were taken (either in sunlight, or artificial light)as well as due to the monitor being viewed.

8) What is your refund policy?
- All sales are final unless the wrong item is shipped or it is damaged due to our packaging

9) How is your privacy policy?
- All data of our customers will be handled only in order to enable confirmation of the shipping cost and subsequent issuance of Commercial Invoice through PayPal. Once completed the purchase, all data will be immediately deleted from our archives.

Note: If the customer wishes to subscribe our mailing list to know about new products and promotions, this option should be checked when completing the "Contact Us".
